CERA and its volunteers strive to reach out to the community via a variety of programs and events. There are many ways to get involved, have fun and help the horses at the same time.

Pre-Veterinary Program for College Students

This is a program for students that are currently in college, taking animal related classes, allowing them to have hands on experience with several different horses that have different personalities. Each week, students are responsible for a different horse. Grooming, basic ground manners, bathing etc. are all included. A vet, farrier and other professionals will come to the farm for students to learn and ask any questions. Students also learn the safest way to handle a difficult horse. Days and hours vary. To apply, please send an email to darlenekindle@windstream.net with your bio, what college you are attending, any equine experience and the reason why you are applying. This course is being offered during summer break only and a Certificate of Achievement will be given upon completion.

Open House

Our Open House events are always a lot of fun and a great way to spend time with family, friends and animals. Sometimes we even manage to put our visitors to work! (JUST KIDDING!) We plan to have several Open House events in 2017, maybe even another cook-out, more info coming soon!
